Hello Peter

We could be related. Tell me more about your family please. My father otto karl Pruss had 4 sons by his first wife. All the boys were born in Berlin. My paternal grandfather's name was Johann Pruss, from Greifswald.

Hope to hear from you.

Really? Where in Silesia? A lot of my family lives there, mostly in and around Wroclaw/Breslau. I've been a few times. It's a really nice city, lots of interesting sites. It's my understanding Captain Pruss was a real hero at the disaster, he saved a lot of other people, without thinking of himself.
