I recently acquired a macon collection that contained Ullmann#10/28/33 – 1.1 and 11/17/33 – 1.3 both “carried by courtesy” I cannot find any other information on what appears to extremely rare Macon “unofficial” carried mail. Can you help?
I came across a Macon cover, signed by 61 crew members, on the day of the crash. It is mailed to a news agency. I have never seen a anything like this. Has anyone else? A Shanandoa survivor, was also on the Macon (a little fun fact)
i have a few hundred akron ad macon covers. is there any interest out there in purchasing them anymore??
